This is an exciting opportunity within the Group Finance team with great prospects for further professional development. This role will provide support to GMI financial Director. GMI is a rapidly expanding and includes Facultative and Captives practice that spans the entire breadth of Willis. The monthly management accounts are vital in assessing the performance of the business and the role will initially involve the preparation of these management accounts.
Having mastered the ongoing monthly tasks the next stage would be to develop the role and undertake additional analysis and ad-hoc projects. In order to undertake these additional projects you will need to be creative in both methodology and presentation of information.
• Update the data cubes for current information, linking to other business unit’s cubes and reconciling the numbers.
• Roll forward and refresh the information in the monthly reporting packs.
• Obtain additional information and include in the monthly reporting packs
• Prepare the analysis of various expense categories.
• Assist with preparation of presentations e.g. Quarterly reviews and monthly Partners Group Pack.
• Create, develop and maintain reports which reflect variances in income and expense for the group.

o Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products is essential, particularly Excel using various functions including choose functions, if statements, look up’s and internal and external links.
o Willing to work in day shifts
