Syndicate Bank invites applications for the post of SECURITY OFFICERS in MMGS-II:

Eligibility Criteria (as on Feb 01, 2009):

Age:

26 to 45 years [relaxation as per rules]

Educational Qualification:

A Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized University in India.

Experience: Minimum 5 years commissioned service in the Army, Navy, Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP/DSP with 5 years service or Officers of identical rank in Para Military forces with 5 years of completed service.

Application Fee:

SC/ST: Rs. 50

For all others (including OBC): Rs. 200

Requisite Application Fee may be paid at any of the Branches of Syndicate Bank, by means of a Payment Voucher. OR

Where there is no Syndicate Bank Branch, candidates can remit the requisite fee by Demand Draft favouring "Syndicate Bank Recruitment Project - 2009" payable at Udupi only.

The payment towards application fee will be accepted by bank Branches between Feb09, 2009 and before March10, 2009 (or March 17.03.2009 as the case may be).

Selection Procedure:

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility criteria. The requisite number of shortlisted candidates will be called for interview for final selection. The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the interview and as per requirement of the Bank.
