Software Engineer I

Job Description

Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies - Windows XP/(Vista), and in particular experience with .Net framework and knowledge of XML
Integrates basic principles theories/concepts of professional field with procedures and activities within own work area
Applies research, information gathering and analysis skills to factual information
Verifies detailed information
Tracks, monitors and maintains detailed information
Develops and applies:
- Basic programming/engineering skills in 2 or more relevant languages or methodologies
- Testing and debugging principles
Knowledge of one area of system architecture, product module, or assembly/test module
Learns the product development or manufacturing/test process
Evaluate products compared to standard, expected results
Assists with development and testing of a particular module or assembly/test process based on detailed design documents
Tests and releases a small fix, process change or corrective action to improve quality, yield or manufacturing cycle time

Education and Background

Internships and/or 0-2 years of related experience out of which at least 1 year should be in C#.Net.
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline
Experience in web services is added advantage
Should be strong in Object Oriented analysis and design
