Systems Engineer – 559089
Description

In this position, you will be building, supporting, integrating, and maintaining servers and application systems to support Intel's business needs, and meet IT standards and computing environment requirements. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing first and/or second level support on system related issues (for example, hardware, operating systems, Database, services, and others)
- carry out routine downtime maintenance activities
- Identifying root causes and resolving problems related to system and application functionality
- Conducting performance analysis and addressing gaps to improve performance
- Automate routine activities via scripting

Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline with two to five years of working experience in two or more of the following areas: Windows* 2000* and/or 2003* administration, IIS, Microsoft* SQL*, Internet technologies, and networking protocols. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong communication skills
- A team player
- Solid understanding of computer systems including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
- Understanding various client and/or server architectures, operating system build technologies, system patching, system auditing, as well as server build processes
- Ability to cope with demanding work schedules
