Job Description

This is a development engineer position(MTS2). Application Platform group is responsible for design and development of software products such as GlassFish application server, Metro web services and Java EE platform, which are critical infrastructure components of Enterprise application deployment. The candidate will be part of the team developing security module for the Metro and Application Server products.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on leading edge technologies and influence specifications that drive industry standards. It is also an opportunity to work on open source development in leading communities such as GlassFish and Metro, providing interaction with leading names in the community within and outside Sun. It requires working with globally distributed teams across various functions.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience : 0-2 years

- Excellent knowledge in Java.

- Conceptual knowledge of the Java EE (formerly J2EE) platform, is a must.

- Excellent problem solving & debugging skills

- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

- knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, JAX-WS etc.

- Hands on experience in Java EE technologies as a developer on any one of the Application Server in the market.

- Working knowledge in Security technologies like WS-Security, SSL etc.

Education :
B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer science or equivalent from reputed institutes. (CGPA of 7.0 or above for freshers).
