Job Description
In Emerson we develop various product for measurement of temp., pressure etc. These devices work on various digital protocols. The host systems need to understand the device capabilities. The capabilities of each device are made available in Device Description (EDD). The project is to develop these EDD’s. We will not be developing any hardware but will be using existing devices for communication with Host systems. The EDD is kind of software development with specific language similar to ANSI ‘C’.
•Developing Device Drivers for Hard Devices
• Product design
• Flow device configuration and Testing
• Instrument Configuration and Testing
Desired Candidate Profile
The candidates should have exposure in instrumentation.
Candidates having exposure in flow device configuration and testing would be preferred.
Candidates should have ability to develop device drivers for hard devices.
