In-depth Knowledge

Performance & Tuning at SQL level and within RDBMS architecture
Backup methodology & Recovery techniques
SQL Server RDBMS architecture
SQL Server Installation
DTS usage for transferring data
Query analyser commands and stored procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

Support Capabilities

Service start-up and shutdown procedures
Database creation and structure modification
Table creations
Database space management and utilisation monitoring
Performance monitoring and parameter tuning
Running scripts (command prompt, query analyser / isql etc)
Backup and Recovery
Backup verification and log checking
Security Administration
Technical procedures and documentation
Housekeeping
High Availability concepts ? LogShipping, Replication, Clustering

Work Location:Mumbai

Exp: 3-8 yrs
