Job Description
•Installation and administration of HP-UX/Solaris servers.
•Solaris 10 Zones & Containers, ZFS and Solaris resource management.
•HP-UX LVM administration.
•Shell scripting
•VERITAS Volume Manager & VERITAS Cluster.
•Server installation, data center management and troubleshooting.
•Power broker/SUDO installation and administration.
•Configuration and administration of Npar & Vpar in HP-UX server.
•Working knowledge of HP Superdome servers.
•Monitor Resource Utilization and server health status.
•Perform a trend analysis of CPU/Memory/Disk utilization for critical platforms/servers.
•Backup & Recovery Management- Veritas netbackup.
•Must be able to build a quality-oriented integration approach over UNIX / HP-UX platforms.
•Provide 3rd-level support for an enterprise-wide UNIX (Solaris & HP-UX) distributed server platforms.
