The Corporate Administration & Shared Services organization (CA&SS) is charged with driving these optimization strategies for all Administrative and Global Shared Services. HP's internal BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) business, called GBS (Global Business Services), is leading one of the key corporate strategic initiatives. The Transformation organization, under GBS, owns functions such as Transition, transformation, global quality and internal business services. This organization is looking for exceptionally talented individuals who will become part of the all-star transition team heading up this unique effort within HP. JOB DESCRIPTION The GBS Transition Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, multinational, multi-processes, large transition projects. He/ she is responsible for developing and executing transition plans that will enable our HP Internal customers to migrate processes without any operational disruption from the current site and state of their operations after 'Go-Live' The Transition Manager will apply his/her experience and project management skills to manage the projects successfully and deliver solutions to the customers by: * Developing the Project Plan and Timelines * Monitoring and controlling the Transition Process * Overall customer handling, escalating major transition issues, when required to respective Program Manager The Transition Manager might work as a consultant with the Client Manager during the project proposal to the customer by: * Providing expertise to evaluate training effort, language requirements, MOC plan, location strategy, language needs * Ensuring that all transition Project Plans are consistent and integrated with the overall Program. He/She will provide leadership across the GBS Functions involved in the project. In addition he/she: o Is the Project Lead, owns the project plan o Coordinates/ facilitates transition (planning, sign-off, team meetings, escalations) o Acts as a consultant for Best Practices o Ensures transition model is implemented o Publishes project documentation The Transition Manager needs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by demonstrating high level of expertise about the GBS Business Centers' structure, processes and activities (IT support, SLA, SOW, Language, CRC, Communication tools, Management of change, remote supervision, etc) and facilitate Management of Change in the customer side.

Desired Profile

* Expert in one or more of the following function: HR, Order Management, Procurement, Supply Change, Finance and Accounting, and Relationship management / Customer facing at all levels of the client organization * Consulting/ solution development experience * Working in complex project environments * Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field. * 9 years' work experience of which at least 4-5 years in consulting/ outsourcing/ solution development roles * Managing process consulting during transitions in BPO/BPO like environment * Exposure to Six Sigma and related qualityconcepts,BPM, industrial engineering etc * Implementation of Standard tools/applications on a global level and of working with diverse partners * Analysis of business requirements and identifying improvement opportunities in the existing business processes and for identification and implementation of technology based automation solutions
