Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: HP Storage - L2, Unix Admin - L2

Skill & Job Requirements: HP Storage - L2 - Experience in Administering/ Managing/ Troubleshooting disk storage products such as HP EVA, HP MSA, HP XP . Experience in working on HP STORAGWORKS SOFTWARE FOR MSA, EVAand XP .Experience in HP MSA , EVA, XP. Candidate should have experience in storage administration like Creating logical groups, Creating disk groups , Vraids, local replication between Vraid types using Vsnap or Snapclone within a disk group or using Snapclone across disk groups (and Cross Vraid Snapshot and Snapclone).Online XCS software upgrade capability and Integrating Hosts like Windows, HP-UX, Solaris and AIX. Configuring HBA Cards using both host and Vendor utilities like elxcfg, lputil, HBAnyware, SANsurfer. Should have good knowledge on Business copy local replication and continuous access EVA . Should have good knowledge in HP Storage Works Replication Solutions Manager ( RSM) . Configuring Zoning and activating the zones and should have good knowledge on the Command View EVA in creating disk groups and Varaid s and presenting them to respective hosts.

Creating snapshots and snapclones and managing them and mounting them to a different host for backup purpose .Should have good experience in Secure Path, MPIO basic and Advanced for MSA AND EVA. Good knowledge on HP EVA iSCSI connectivity . Should possess good troubleshooting skills and work towards speedy resolution to the problem Should have good knowledge on working on HP SIM System insight manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: BE / BTech

Experience : 4-6 YEARS

Skills: Infrastructure Support - Storage - Works independently towards providing support for escalated incident/problem management requirements (L2 support). Expert on different Storage subsystems (EMC, IBM, HP, NetApp etc) and basic OS administration (Ex. Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Linux &Windows etc) , resolves at least 80% of calls routed to him/her , without having to dispatch to service partners. In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting problems and knowledge of storage replication.
