Job Description

Looking for Java requirement with Yahoo Bangalore.

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsibilities
Architect, design and build fault-tolerant software systems to retrieve very large data volumes from massive data warehouses
Implement scheduling systems to execute massively distributed jobs orchestrated to meet tight SLAs and to recover quickly from network and system failures
Design a flexible configuration-driven framework for data filtering and processing on loading into the computation clusters
Build plug-ins to abstract access to heterogeneous data sources.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of Java / C++
ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) development expertise
Experience with parallel execution and distributed systems
Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills
Experience with at least one shell scripting language (perl, python, etc.)
Experience with SQL and relational database technology
Experience in performance testing, benchmarking and analysis.
Preferred Job Qualifications
MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
5+ years development experience on a Unix platform, preferably Linux
Experience contributing to a significant open source project.
