Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) which is an autonomous body under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. The institute is engaged in the development of new drugs and diagnostics in various therapeutic areas like malaria, tuberculosis, filaria, leishmania, cancer, thrombosis, hypertension, dementia, diabetes, lipid disorders, gastric ulcer, osteoporosis, prostatic hyperplasia, etc. Supported by very competent team of chemists and biologists, the institute is carrying out pioneering works on cellular and molecular studies to understand these disease processes, systematic evaluation of the medicinal properties of natural products and synthetic molecules, development of technology for drugs, intermediates and biologicals. The institute also has a robust programme in developing human resource for future requirement of the pharmaceutical industry and R&D institutions. 2. Scientist Gr.IV(2) : 14 posts (UR-14), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600, Age : 35 years
3. Scientist Gr.IV(3) : 15 posts (UR-15), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600, Age : 40 years
4. Technical Gr. III (6) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600, Age : 40 years
5. Technical Gr. III (6) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600, Age : 40 years
6. Technical Gr. III (4) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Age : 35 years
7. Technical Gr. III (1) : 12 post (UR-6, Sc-2, ST-2, OBC-2), Pay Scale : Rs.PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 28 years

Fee : Application fee of Rs. 100/- ($25 if applying from abroad) to be paid alongwith application form in the form of Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque in favour of Director, Central Drug Research Insitutte payable at Lucknow.
