INDIAN ARMY 34th SSC (Technical) Men and 5thSSC (Technical) Women Course April 2010

Applications are invited from Married / Unmarried male and unmarried female, issueless wodow, issueless divorcee and widows of defence personnels for grant of SSC to the Indian Army :

Initial Screening and short listing of applicants will be done at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters. Selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

• 33nd SSC (Tech.) : 89 posts (Male – 49, Women – 40), Age : 20-27 years beorn between 02 April 1983 to 01 April 1990
  1. BE/ B.Tech. Civil : 09 posts (Male – 7, Women -2), Code – 01
  2. BE/ B.Tech. Mechanical : 14 posts (Male – 7, Women -7), Code – 02
  3. BE/ B.Tech. Electrical : 07 posts (Male – 6, Women -1), Code – 03
  4. BE/ B.Tech. Electronics : 14 posts (Male – 5, Women -11), Code – 04
  5. BE/ B.Tech. Computer Science : 11 posts (Male – 6, Women -5), Code – 05
  6. BE/ B.Tech. IT : 16 posts (Male – 7, Women -5), Code – 06
  7. BE/ B.Tech. Elect & Communication/ Telecommunication : 15 posts (Male – 6, Women -9), Code – 07
  8. BE/ B.Tech. Industrial Engineering & Management : 02 posts (Male -2), Code – 08
  9. BE/ B.Tech. Architecture : 02 posts (Male -2), Code – 09
  10. BE/ B.Tech. Oublic Health : 01 post (Male – 1), Code – 10
  11. BE/ B.Tech. Constrcution : 01 post (Male – 1), Code – 11
• Qualification : A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in relevant.
• Physical Standard: min. height 157.5 cm (152 for women) , better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18
• Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs5400 + MSP Rs.6000
• Widows of Defence personnel : 03 posts (Graduate in any discipline -1 (Age : 19-29 years), BE/B.Tech. in the streams as above -2 (Age : 20-31 years)) , Code – 12
