Job Description :
- Good Hands on exposure in Oracle Administration Oracle database running on Sun Solaris to support Oracle database.
- Server Maintenance, and taking actions when the utilization where high.
- Creation and maintenance of database and designing concepts.
- Configuration of database parameters for tuning
- Monitoring Database for fragmentation and correcting them
- Analyzing and advising on capacity planning based on transaction volumes and growth
- Planning and implementation of Backup and recovery procedures
- Trouble shooting correction for bugs and performance tuning
- Development of necessary tools (Unix Scripts) for monitoring and maintenance of Database.
- Creation of Primary Objects.
- Tuning memory parameters.
- Reorganization of tables and indexes
- Movement of databases from one machine to other machines from different versions of Oracle.
- Taking care of Backup and Recovery.
- Space management of existing files.
- Performance tuning in both Windows and Solaris environment, and migrating the data between Different Plat forms and different versions.
