Job Description :

  • Good Hands on exposure in Oracle Administration Oracle database running on Sun Solaris to support Oracle database.
  • Server Maintenance, and taking actions when the utilization where high.
  • Creation and maintenance of database and designing concepts.
  • Configuration of database parameters for tuning
  • Monitoring Database for fragmentation and correcting them
  • Analyzing and advising on capacity planning based on transaction volumes and growth
  • Planning and implementation of Backup and recovery procedures
  • Trouble shooting correction for bugs and performance tuning
  • Development of necessary tools (Unix Scripts) for monitoring and maintenance of Database.
  • Creation of Primary Objects.
  • Tuning memory parameters.
  • Reorganization of tables and indexes
  • Movement of databases from one machine to other machines from different versions of Oracle.
  • Taking care of Backup and Recovery.
  • Space management of existing files.
  • Performance tuning in both Windows and Solaris environment, and migrating the data between Different Plat forms and different versions.
