Job Description : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 06/09/2009 an open competitive examination on All-India basis for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organisations in the payscale of PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200 in the following following Central Police Organisation :

Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Forces : 2153 posts
(CRPF-352, BSF-268, CISF-1500, ITBP-22, SSB-11)
Age : 20 to 25 years as on 26/06/2009. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candiates and 3 years to OBC candidates.
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognised University or equivalent
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200

Scheme of Exam : The examination will consist of two parts (i) Written Exam carrying 500 marks and (ii) Personality Test (Interview) will carry 100 marks
