Selection Methodology:
The selection methodology will comprise of Written test / Trade test and Personal Interview of all short listed candidates. For the post of Jr. Accounts Assistant, the Trade test of the short-listed candidates shall include computer exercises for assessment of proficiency in Data management / accountancy and typing speed. All the candidates will have to pass at each stage for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the following 10 positions in Group ‘C’ (Salary Grade- IV):
- Engineering Assistant (Mechanical): 01 Post
- Pay: Rs. 5400 – 10850
- Engineering Assistant (Electrical): 05 Posts
- Pay: Rs. 5400 – 10850
- Engineering Assistant (Telecom & Instrumentation): 02 Posts
- Pay: Rs. 5400 – 10850
- Junior Accounts Assistant: 02 Posts
- Pay: Rs. 5400 – 10850
- Last Date: 09.07.09
Age limit: Between 18-32 years as on 30.06.2009
Concessions/ Relaxation:
Upper age relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them. Upper age relaxation of 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates. Age relaxation for ex-servicemen is applicable as per rules.
1. Minimum percentage requirement (55%) for the qualification prescribed above may be relaxed at the discretion of the management for PH / Ex-servicemen category candidates in the event of nonavailability of such suitable candidates.
2. SC / ST candidates called for test / interview will be reimbursed single 2nd class railway fare limited to rail fare from the nearest railway station of the mailing address to the place of test / interview and back by the shortest route on production of bus ticket/rail ticket, provided the distance is not less than 30 kms. each side.
3. SC / ST / PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
