Selected ME/M.Tech/M.Sc(Tech) candidates are eligible for promotion as Scientist/Engineer SD after two years of service in Scientist/Engineer SC grade as against four year requirement for M.Sc./BE/B.Tech candidates

NRSC invites application for following posts from young and talented candidates for various post as Scientist/Engineer – SD and Scientist/Engineer – SC.

  1. Scientist/Engineer SD: 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
  2. Scientist/Engineer SC: 23 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Other Conditions / Instructions

  1. Degrees mentioned for the posts in this advertisement means FIRST CLASS DEGREE only. In case of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc.(Tech)/BE/B.Tech /M.Sc, the candidates should possess First Class with not less than 65% of marks (average of all semesters) or equivalent CGPA/CPI grading. Wherever B.Sc., mentioned in the advertisement, the candidates should also posses minimum First Class in the said Degree.
  2. Experience should have been obtained after possessing the essential educational qualifications.
  3. Age for all posts should not be more than 35 Years as on 30.06.2009. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) will be admissible as per extant orders.
  4. For the post reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD) age relaxation of five years over and above 35 years (10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC) is admissible. The post is reserved for Deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped. The percentage of disability should be moderate (between 40% to 75%). The Applicant should clearly mention the nature of disability and also produce a certificate issued by Medical Authorities not less than the rank of Civil Surgeon.
  5. The posts are temporary but likely to continue.
  6. The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Centres/Units of NRSC/ISRO/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
  7. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Organisations should apply through proper channel.
  8. Applications should be accompanied with attested true copies of qualifications/experience/ proof of date of birth / caste certificate etc. along with marks certificates of all examinations and a recent passport size photograph.
  9. Candidates should submit separate application form for each post.
  10. Applications received after due date / without enclosures / incomplete shall be rejected.
  11. Mere fulfillment of the qualitative requirements of the post will not entail a candidate to be called for interview.
  12. NRSC reserves the right not to fill up any of the post/posts advertised, if it so decides.
  13. Only Indian Nationals need apply.
  14. No interim correspondence will be entertained and canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may send their applications on A-4 size plain paper in the prescribed format. The completed applications supported by attested copies of all the certificates and testimonials should reach the Administrative Officer (R&R), National Remote Sensing Centre, Balanagar, Hyderabad-500 625 latest by 30/06/2009.
