Designation Senior Software Designer – C/C++, Solaris, Pthread
Job Description Platforms and Tools
• Strong hands-on knowledge of C/C++ on UNIX, Solaris is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Pthread threading library.
• Network programming under UNIX.
• Database development, preferably using Sybase.
• Good knowledge of OOAD.
• XML processing is desirable.
• Knowledge/experience of client-server architecture is a plus.
Desired Profile Experience
• 6-8 years of overall development experience involving multithreaded and multi-process applications.
• Sound understanding of areas in CS like algorithms, OOAD, distributed systems, transaction processing and OS fundamentals.
• Sharp design, coding and debugging skills.
• Sound knowledge and experience in software development best practices.
