Oracle certification is must
Experience in versions 9i, 10G.RAC
>Must have experience with Monitoring, Performance tuning, Support and Diagnostic tools.
>Experienced with Backup (hot/cold) and Recovery is mandatory.
>Well versed with the concepts of Replication and Parallel servers.
>Experienced in SQL, PL/SQL, Query tuning, optimization & data load. Experience on UNIX & shell scripting required.
>Experience in Clusters, database security & high availability in large environments.
>Experience on SAN (NetApp /IBM Shark /EMC) environment is a plus.
>Certification is a must
>Advanced competence in analyzing problems, developing and simplifying error resolution procedures and identifying innovative solutions.
>Adapt to work under pressure, making sound decisions to assess and repair mission critical issues in minimal time.
>Good communication and client relation’s skills, building effective and productive work relationships with both clients and staff
>Exceptionally strong in team environments and proven team leadership skills – develop and motivate team to increasing levels of productivity.
>To closely interact with the business & Clients and know about the process and should judge the impact in case of infrastructure failure.
>Analyze the problem post the issue and do the root cause analysis for all the issues.
>Ability to express oneself clearly and logically, both written and verbally.
>The position requires frequent 24×7 availability on-call basis.
>Worked on 24/7 high availability environment
