Must be MCSE & CCNA Certofication.
Responsibilities include finding vulnerabilities/exploits using various TCP/IP packet debugging tools, searching through security sites and developing algorithms/signatures to provide detection/prevention for these.
Understanding the vulnerabilities of various systems, and develop intrusion detection and prevention signatures.
Familiarity with Networking protocols such as TCP/IP & Network Security – Protocol Analyzers, IDS, Intrusion Analysis, & Intrusion prevention firewall.
Responsible for developing Advisories for the latest Malware samples. Malware samples include latest worms, Trojans and backdoors.
Worked on tools like: Metasploit, Core impact, SAINT, Tomahawk, Intruder Pro, NGREP, Karalon & Blade.
Responsible for monitoring IDS/IPS alerts at various sites and then determining whether alerts are true attack or false positives.
Filing bugs for IDS/IPS signatures, which has generated false alerts.
Must have experience in Client Interaction.
Must have Good Communication.
Must have handled atleast 10 members of team.
Prior Experience of L2 & L3 Level is must.
Must have Experince of handling Routers,Portals
