Core Responsibilities (Must Have)
1) Have 3-4 years mainframe testing experience
2) Be proficient in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL/Procs, MQ, SPUFI, QMF, FileAid, VSAM and Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, etc)
3) Have experience in writing DB2 SQL queries
4) Have excellent oral and written English language skills
5) Have the ability to independently develop a QC test plan/strategy from functional/technical specifications document.
6) Ready to work in US shift (Night Shift 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM)
Other Responsibilities (added advantage)
1) Create and maintain project plans ensuring all deliverables are on target and completed according to schedule.
2) Identification of business risks and solutions.
3) Communicate risks and/or to Senior Management.
4) Identify and implement process improvements.
5) Should have strong knowledge on SDLC, business requirements and testing concepts.
6) Design, develop test strategies and create and maintain test plans
7) Manage execution of User Acceptance Testing that insure features and functionality testing
Automate Test Scripts and Cases using Win Runner tool
9) Defect Management
10) Create and maintain current test process documentation
11) Recording test statistics, providing metrics and generating regular status updates, reports
12) Generating test exit reports, providing test completion signoffs etc..
Desired Profile
1) Any Graduate with core interest in S/W testing area and having minimum of 2 years of experience into Mainframe Testing
2) 3-4 years experience into Mainframe Testing
3) should have good customer service and communication skills.
4) Experience in Banking or Financial Industry preferred.
5) Should have strong analytical skills.
6) Experience on web based applications preferred.
7) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
Candidate having diploma in s/w testing will be preferred
**Note:
1) Candidate having experience into MAINFRAME TESTING will only be considered
2) Candidate having no into MAINFRAME TESTING experience need not apply
3) Candidate who have applied in last six month need not apply
4) Candidate should be comfortable working into continuous night shift. Timing 6.30pm to 3.30 am
